PHLY Sponsored Special Olympics Fall Festival

Philadelphia Insurance Companies proudly sponsored the Volleyball Venue at the 2008 Fall Festival, hosted by Villanova University. The Fall Festival, a three-day event which hosts nearly 1,000 athletes and over 300 coaches each year, is the largest annual student-run Special Olympics event in the United States. 50 PHLY employees volunteered at this year’s event. The weekend ended on a great note as Bill McKenna, AVP of Accounting presented competitor, Stephanie Saylor with the PHLY Sportsmanship Award at Awards Ceremony on Sunday. We thank all those volunteers for making the event a huge success!
In its 20th consecutive year, the event features exciting competition in bocce, long distance running/walking, power lifting, roller skating, soccer and volleyball.
